ABOUT
ColorBridge is a nonprofit providing entertainment and therapy through the arts. We serve everyone, with a focus on neurodiverse and disabled adults, who are too often overlooked by traditional creative programs.
Most programs are designed for one kind of learner. We start from the opposite premise. The student who needs more time, different instruction, or a quieter room is not a logistical problem. They are an artist.
Many programs stop at access. We focus on experience. Our work includes weekly art classes, gallery exhibitions, field trips, and immersive travel. We are also researching emerging tools, including wearable technologies that could help people with sensory, communication, or hearing differences engage more fully with their world.
The work is rooted in our founder's relationship with his older brother, who has autism. At ColorBridge, difference is not something to be corrected. It is something to be understood, expressed, and celebrated.
